Our Mission
The mission of the Lyon County Water District is to provide safe potable water to all residents of Lyon County.
At Present
Lyon County Water District operations consist of 4 full-time employees, 1 superintendent, 1 office, and 3 field employees. The Lyon County Water District Board and staff work diligently to provide and maintain accurate records of all customers,
as well as strive to provide high-quality, safe drinking water to customers and residents at all times. The field staff monitors water quality throughout the 312 miles of system infrastructure and provides leak determination and repair.
The Lyon County Water District also strives to improve the system with upgrades in the distribution system as needed.
